“Yooo, T! Is that who I think it is?”
“Damn, I wouldn’t mind meeting her. Ay, check her out, T.” Romeo gave him an elbow to the ribs.
Troy’s eyes fluttered open. He sat up straight when she came into his line of sight. The invisible string bikini and thong set did more than just enhance the beautiful woman’s hourglass figure; it showcased her curves, highlighting her ample bosom and shapely hips. The barely-there two-piece sparkled with rhinestones, reflecting the light and drawing attention to her every move. Strutting with such grace, her clear platform stiletto sandals added to her elegant stride. Her walk was so damn sexy, he could admire her ass from any angle. The natural slant of her eyes, reminiscent of dark chocolate, and her jet-black hair that fell past her shoulders, reaching all the way to her waist without the help of any extensions, added to her captivating beauty.
Ain’t no fucking way. Is that who I think it is? The alcohol clouded Troy’s vision, causing him to struggle with telling Mia and the woman walking toward him apart. He knew it wasn’t her, but Troy thought she could be his wife’s doppelgänger. The only distinguishing features that stood out to him from Mia’s were the woman’s honey-colored complexion and slightly thinner lips.
Approaching the sofa, she leaned forward and purred in Troy’s ear. “Hey, lover boy. You look like you could use some company. Mind if I sit here?”
My lap or my face? Shit, yeah! Wait, no! But the words didn’t come out. They were stuck. He was stuck. A chill ran through his entire body as she caressed his arm, leaving him speechless and in awe. Troy hadn’t seen her in over a year, and she looked good. Too damn good. The moment Troy inhaled, the intoxicating fragrance that filled his nose overwhelmed him. She smelled like mangoes and coconuts with a hint of cinnamon. It was a distinct aroma in the air, different from the other women who were there minutes ago. Troy’s sexual desires were triggered by the familiar scent. Shifting in the seat to alleviate the pressure building in his crotch was pointless. Suddenly, hearing his friends’ cheers snapped Troy out of the trance he’d been in. He whipped his head to the left.
Shawn raised his glass and shouted, “Yeah, Trouble T-Roy! You done hit the jackpot tuhnight! Sinnamen brought her ass all the way from the A baby! You’ve got an exclusive treat, my nigga!”
Sinnamen whispered, “That’s right. I’m here just for you, Trouble T-Roy.”
The way she rolled the nickname Shawn gave him off her tongue had his dick jumping for joy. Yeah, he remembered her too. Troy refocused on Sinnamen, her face mere inches from his. Her eyes, filled with desire, stayed trained on his lips. He looked at hers, admiring their perfect heart-shape. When he peered up, time seemed to stand still as their gazes locked in a silent exchange. No introductions were necessary.
Troy gulped hard and stammered, “Wh-what the fuck are you doing here, Sinn?”
“I just told you, lover boy. I’m here for you.”
“How did you know I was here?”
“Word gets around fast when fine-ass ballers like you are in the building. I was in town and well, I was tryna see if you wanted to hook up for old times’ sake.”
Troy fought the urge to devour her mouth when he caught a whiff of her cotton-candy-flavored breath. He shook off the temptation, determined to maintain control. “I uhh . . . I umm, no, I can’t. You can take care of my boys though. I’m good.”
“Oh, I know, Trouble T-Roy.” Sinnamen slid her body on top of him, straddling his lap. She rolled her hips and grounded on his erection before leaning in. Her breath tickling his ear as she whispered, “You’re still the best I ever had.”
